Voor sommigen gaat deze limonade misschien iets te zuur zijn, dus zoet hem dan gerust wat bij. Zelf vind ik de zure smaak verfrissend en ik drink het daardoor iets liever. De gember overheerst niet, alles hangt ervan af hoe lang je deze laat trekken, experimenteren is de boodschap!
Ingrediënten:
- 125g zoetmiddel (à ratio ½ suiker, ik heb voor tagatesse gekozen)
- 350ml citroensap
- 8 schijfjes gember
- 2 stengels citroengras
- 1,5 tot 2l water
Los het zoetmiddel op in 20cl water. Breng 30 seconden aan de kook. De siroop moet helder zijn, dan is ze klaar. Haal van het vuur en voeg de schijfjes gember toe en laat afkoelen. Vis de gember eruit en voeg het citroensap (met de pulp) toe en zet in de koelkast. Duw het citroengras plat en voeg toe aan het water. Meng het sap met ijskoud bruiswater en enkele ijsblokjes. Bewaar dit in een fles die dicht kan en zet in de koelkast. Dien op met een schijfje citroen, een blaadje munt en ijsblokjes.
Dien op en geniet ervan!
